- Anaphylactic Shock Standard - a very popular online course already in widespread use throughout the NHS for mandatory refresher training. Interactive and easy to use. Answers the questions - what is anaphylaxis, how do you recognise it and how do you treat it. A Certificate with the organisation logo on successful completion of the assessment and an introduction from an officer of the Trust. Updated in line with 2008 UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.
- Anaphylactic Shock Lite - similar to Anaphylactic Shock, but aimed at staff who require an awareness of anaphylaxis and the ability to recognise the condition, but who are either not qualified or their job role does not require them to give intra-muscular adrenaline.
- Patient Group Directions - This course has been designed to ensure appropriate use of PGDs both for new staff, and to update those already using PGDs to maintain competency. Interactive and easy to use. A Certificate with the organisation logo on successful completion of the assessment and an introduction from an officer of the Trust.
- Nutrition Screening & Support - This course looks at the problem of malnutrition and shows trainees how to use the 'MUST' tool. Interactive and easy to use. A Certificate with the organisation logo and BAPEN endorsement on successful completion of the assessment and an introduction from an officer of the Trust.
- Venepuncture - Venepuncture is one of the most common invasive procedures and this course provides the theoretical knowledge that practitioners will require prior to supervised practical application. This course is coming soon - so please let me know if you would like your organisation to be involved in the peer group review process.
- Vaccination Training - This course provides a pharmacist with the necessary background theory prior to coming on a practical training session. Learning the underpinning knowledge first, minimises time away from the pharmacy.
